Equal Loudness Contours

Title Specification for normal equal-loudness level contours for pure tones under free-field listening conditions
Abstract Specifies, for the condition of equal loudness and certain other stated conditions, relationships between sound pressure levels and frequencies of pure continuous tones. These are expressed by means of a bilinear equation for the preferred frequencies in the one-third octave series from 20 to 12500 Hz. A graphical illustration is included.
